This weekend we hosted a Friendsgiving at our house for our small group from church. This group of people have really gone from casual acquaintances a few years ago to feeling like a friend family. We know the highs and lows of each others lives with no judgement ever. We champion for each other instead of competing and the feeling has been freeing to my soul. In a Bible study this Fall the leader mentioned having a "Fab Five". These are 5 people that when you need the Word poured over you, they are who you call. I didn't used to have that. I would get advice from loved ones and good may it be, it did not strengthen or renew my faith in God when I needed it. This continuously left me feeling lost. Thinking back to this weekend, I can say that I have more than a "Fab Five".

Our friend family is a large one and I feel so blessed to have found these women and their families that I know will speak the Good News into me when I need it and even when I don't. Who are your "Fab Five"? Who are those people in your life that will champion for you and strengthen your faith instead of diminish it? This is my first ever blog post. I have always felt that I was not one with words so take it easy on me LOL. I had to start somewhere.
